The “In Jesus Name Medical Ministry” exists for the sole purpose of ministering to meet the spiritual and medical needs of a portion of the underprivileged Guatemalan population. This ministry hopefully will continue to hold several medical mission trips each year and it is truly desired that these mission trips will be a wonderful experience of offering a glass of water in the name of our blessed savior, Jesus Christ. The mission trips are facilitated by Dr. Steve Fineburg , Vernie Sullivan, and Genry & Heather Ellison. We also encourage others to utilize our mission house and take their own groups to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus. In Jesus Name Medical Ministry is an incorporated, non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

In the last two-three years God has led the ministry to embark on a major expansion of our outreach efforts. We have completed a God-sized project of providing a Feeding Center within the area of Chimaltenango. The purpose of the Feeding Center, referenced above as Pan De Vida (Bread of Life), is to provide a wholesome meal for approximately 50-60 children each day. Some of these children are orphans or being raised by single mothers. The children will be provided food for their physical needs and more importantly the gospel of Jesus Christ for their spiritual needs. God is truly blessing this effort and we are now in the process of acquiring more property to start the process of building our model of an orphanage, Casas de Nana. God has big things in store!
